How long will my immigration application take?

Outside the UK, the UK Government aims to decide 90% of standard applications within 15 working days. Depending on the post you apply to, there may also be the option of making a “priority” application (within 5 working days) or a “super priority” application (within one working day).

Please note that Priority and Super Priority visa services are not currently running in all Visa Application Centres. You can check the latest information for the country where you are submitting your application on the TLS contact website (for Europe, Africa, and parts of the Middle East) and the VFS Global website (for all other countries).

Check processing times for last month.

Visa processing times start from the date that you attend the Visa Application Centre and enrol your biometrics.
