Any bank statement you use must include all these features:

It is a good idea to highlight each of the above features on your bank statement, so the Caseworker or Entry Clearance Officer can easily see that your statement meets the requirements.

Electronic bank statements are only acceptable if they contain all the required details listed above and are stamped by the bank on every page.

Warning: one of the most common reasons why Tier 4 (General) applications are refused is because an applicant’s financial evidence does not meet the requirements of the Home Office policy guidance. Carefully check your documents against the Home Office policy guidance to make sure this does not happen to you.
