Paragraph 1B (c) of Appendix C of the Immigration Rules allows you to provide a letter from your bank as evidence of your funds. A letter with the following text and features would satisfy the requirements:

  • The minimum balance amount must be at least as much as you need to show for your tuition fees (if you have not paid them) plus your maintenance. See the section “How much money do I need to show?” for details on how to calculate this.
  • When you submit your online immigration application, the letter must not be more than 31 days old.
  • The letter cannot refer to period after the date that you have submitted your online application.
