We run a series of weekly webinars during the summer to provide guidance on the Student application process from overseas and the UK and how to evidence that you have the required funds for your visa application. There will be opportunities for you to ask questions during the webinars. All times listed are UK time.

Applying for a Student visa for Queen Mary

This webinar for applicants will provide guidance to help you prepare your Student visa application from outside the UK including:

  • how, where and when to apply
  • supporting documents
  • money needed and evidence of your funds

There will also be information about receiving your visa and arriving in the UK. 

Apply for a Student visa from inside the UK

This webinar for applicants will provide guidance to help you prepare your Tier 4 visa application from inside the UK including:

  • Can you apply in the UK?
  • how and when to apply
  • supporting documents
  • money needed and evidence of your funds
  • Enrol on your course

Evidence of your funds for your Student immigration application

Detailed guidance about the money required for a Tier 4 visa application to study at Queen Mary, and the format of the documents you provide. We will discuss how much money you need to show and look at some examples of evidence which is acceptable. There will be an opportunity to ask questions about the financial requirements.

Apply for Short-term Student immigration permission

This webinar will include:

- Do you need to apply for Short-term Student permission in your home country?
- Can you request Short-term Student permission on entry to the UK?
- How do you apply for a Short-term Student visa and what documents do you need to provide?
