24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline via Refuge
Freephone 24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline and can put women who need to escape from a violent situation in touch with emergency refuge accommodation. Information includes advice about safety and what to do to help a friend in danger of domestic violence.

Maytree Respite Centre
Charity offering a one-off four night residential sanctuary for people 18+ in a suicidal crisis, in a calm, safe house in north London. Maytree provides time and space to talk and reflect, and supportive befriending in a non-medical environment. Alcohol and drugs, apart from prescribed medication, are not permitted. Maytree is not a drop-in centre, please check website during Coronavirus, and self-refer by phone first.

Drayton Park Women’s Crisis House and Resource Centre
NHS-funded residential mental health crisis project for women 18+ living in Camden or Islington, who would otherwise be admitted to hospital. The stay is offered for one week and extended to a maximum of four weeks. Short term, crisis work, linking women with community and statutory services. Children can be accommodated with their mothers.
